The Resort

Melia Villaitana has been designed as a Mediterranean village with an excellent location , 20 minutes from Alicante airport. Its 25 individual buildings and its unique architectural style replicate picturesque squares and historic corners of the region, making the hotel and innovative experience for both, leisure and business, and positioning it as a new concept of exclusivity, comfort and service. One of the most spectacular resorts in the Costa Blanca.

Melia Villaitana has 455 rooms and suites. The 99 Level rooms, are renowned for their spaciousness and private terraces, making them the perfect place to get away from it all and enjoy the fine details.

The hotel has 5000m2 of outdoor pools, as well as a wide range of gastronomic choices, 2 tennis and 6 paddle courts, an outdoor children’s play area and Kid’s Club, artificial beach and a 1200m2 of YHI Spa. A Convention Centre with 6000m2 of flexible space divided into 17 meeting rooms.

Golf Courses

Villaitana Golf is in a prime tourist location on the east coast, it consists of two 18 holes courses designed by Nicklaus Design.
The surrounding environment has been endowed with a special microclimate that allows the enjoyment of a nature that has been combined with the sport of Golf.

The variety of grass that make both tours through their tees, fairways and rough, is the variety of princess bermudagrass (Cynodon dactylon), which offers all the guarantees for a perfect gameplay at all levels.

Poniente Golf Course

This par 62, length of 3858 meters, is located on the hill side of a Mediterranean pine beautiful valley with sea and mountain views. It requires skill from short irons and is demanding for the low handicap player, although all the holes offer alternatives to players with medium and high handicaps.

Levante Golf Course

This par 72 is American style with wide fairways and exquisitely shaped greens over 6576 meters long enjoys wonderful views of the Mediterranean Sea and the Sierra de Finestrat. The Championship Course, or “Levante”, is a wide and long par 72 course measuring 6576m, with 5 different tee markings per hole. It is an American style course with 106 bunkers, located in an ideal place as with all Nicklaus designs. It is complemented and decorated with 3 great lakes.
