Set in an old manor estate in East Cork, The Castlemartyr Golf Resort is an 18 hole, 6,728 yd, Par 72, inland links style course. It is the creation of renowned golf course designer Ron Kirby, whose credentials were honed on such Irish masterpieces as the Old Head, and Mount Juliet, as well as Gleneagles in Scotland.
Castlemartyr Resort offers luxury 5 Star hotel accommodation within easy reach of Cork Airport and is on the doorstep of Cork City.
The 18th century classic manor house lies adjacent to the ruins of an 800 year old castle originally built by The Knights Templar under Richard Earl de Clare, known as Strongbow.
The Resort is nestled in 220 acres of mature landscape, with meandering streams, parklands and a tranquil lake that is abundant with wildlife and gardens that include a reconstruction of the historical, classical parterre beds.
Each of our 103 bedrooms and suites (11 in The Manor House and 92 in the new wing) is individually appointed with the finest in interior design and comfort. Many of the manor house suites have sweeping views of the 18th century parkland and lakes.
The bedrooms and suites, located in the new wing, have a luxurious contemporary feel and contain all the facilities for today’s traveller.

At the Castlemartyr Golf Course we welcome pay and play guests, residential golf guests and societies.
We can arrange private golf tuition with our PGA qualified professional / the tuition takes place on the course.
