D’Aro Golf Course

Club Golf d’Aro-Mas Nou – is one of the oldest golf courses in the Costa Brava (Platja d’Aro) is located in the middle of the Natural Park of “Les Gavarres” 300 m from the sea level, with spectacular views of the Costa Brava. The field is surrounded by olive trees, pines, oaks and two large artificial lakes (2,600 m3).

This area of the Costa Brava was voted “Best Golf Destination in 2000” according to IAGTO (International Association of Golf Tour Operators).
It is very nice for the variety of holes there and accuracy is required, especially when placing the first stroke from the tee.

Designed by architect Ramón Espinosa, is irrigated by reclaimed water and the path maintains a great respect for the environment. In 1992 he was recognised as the best European travel of the European Association of Architects.

It has hosted the European Tour following tournaments: Martini Open 1990 Open 1992 Catalonia and Catalonia Ladies Masters 2006.
