Son Servera Golf Course

Son Servera is, for the greatest part, a gently undulating parkland course with generous fairways and rough kept to a length where finding the off line shot does not cause too many difficulties. The errant shot is much more likely to be punished by the intervention of one of the many evergreen oak, pine, olive, carob and palm trees that dot the course blocking the way to the pin.

The greens are subtly undulating and water is an enhancing feature on 6 holes. There is, however, always a range of shots on offer providing realistic options for both accomplished and more modest players.

All parts of the course give fine views of the pine clad mountains which protect the course from the worst of any winter storms and from many holes there are splendid views over the Bay of Cala Millor.

At various times of the year, flowering oleanders and bougainvillea add to the colours and the numerous hares, ducks and other birdlife that abound add to the feeling that the course really is a special place.

Son Servera is a flat course, which is easily walkable.  The greens are full of subtle undulations and there is water in play on six of the holes. Designed by John Harris and Francisco López Segales it is the second oldest golf course in Mallorca. The course remains ‘off the radar’ for many visiting golfers but is definitely worth a visit.
