Golfbreaks.ie are delighted to announce that we won the award of “Ireland’s Best Outbound Golf Tour Operator” at the recent World Golf Awards for the third year running!

Ireland’s fastest growing Golf Tour Operator, Golfbreaks.ie has been named at the World Golf Awards as “Ireland’s Best Outbound Golf Tour Operator” for the third year running.

Golfbreaks.ie is a division of Skytours Travel, a well known online and high street travel company in business for nearly 30 years.

The ravishing ceremony took place over the weekend at the 5* Principe Felipe Hotel in the fantastic La Manga Club & Golf Resort in Murcia, Spain. Golfbreaks.ie trumped a total of twelve nominees in the category. At the event Jack Nicklaus was also recognised as the Golf Course Designer of the year.

The World Golf Awards serve to celebrate and reward excellence in golf tourism, world class courses and golf destinations. Voting took place over a four month period and during this time consumers and suppliers were asked to submit their votes from a list of nominated companies.

Speaking from Golfbreaks.ie HQ, Ross Melody, Sales Manager echoed his comments from the win the previous year saying “Our receipt of this award for the third year running is once again a testament to the competence, knowledge and experience that our team of golf specialists possess. Recognition from our customers and suppliers tells us we have the right formula in terms of value proposition alongside great commercial arrangements at all of our destinations.’
